They say a journey of a thousand miles starts with just one step.  (or something like that) 
The first step our adventurers must take involves a trip to an airport and a flight to Amarillo, Texas.

    I will eagerly look forward to reading your 'road trip' reports. But then, I eagerly look forward to twisting the rod that opens up my venetian blinds each morning too. Yes, you might conclude that I am easily amused.
